James Avery is One

I’ve had the honor of capturing Chris and Kate on a couple different occasions. From their pregnancy announcement, James’ newborn photos and now his one-year photos we’ve grown quite close. Chris also serves at our church in the tech department and we both love talking about all our photography gear and how it’s evolved.

James is growing up SO fast and is one of the most smiley little kids ever. And also so mobile and strong. We loved running around the park and playing with eachother and he especially loved pulling out his mom’s hair. Seems like that’s a classic now and days.

Documenting families like this is one of my favorites. Watching them grow together as they figure out new routines and ways of life is a breath of fresh air. Enjoy this precious lil family!
