Oceanside engagement

I have known Abby since college, so about seven years now. Fun thing is that we weren’t ever super close in college due to different friend groups, but about a year afterwards we started talking more and more which led to me flying to California to visit and establishing a strong friendship. We always were in similar seasons of life which was really fun to walk through together. Whether it was being single at the same time, going on hinge dates, losing jobs, etc. we seemed to walk side by side for a number of years.

I remember Abby telling me about Matt and how sure she was of him when they first started dating. The next time I was in CA we got to meet and hangout which was really special. They got engaged on the beach which was absolutely perfect and are now a little bit closer to me living in VA while he’s in the Military. A fun part of their story is that they actually eloped at the courthouse without telling anyone back in August of 2022, but then had a wedding with friends and family in January of 2023. It was so perfect and everything you would have imagined for them.

They’re now expecting their precious baby boy and I am so excited to watch them become a bigger family! I love you two.
