The Kennedy Family

When we first moved in we were so excited to see that our neighbors were our age and had the CUTEST little kid. Then we found out his name was Remi (also the name of the little girl in CO I lived with) and I knew we would be great friends ◡̈

I’ve wanted to photograph them for a while as we always saw them playing outside and making weekly fires so we got to make it happen! They’re in the process of adding a little workout room into the backyard so Remi enjoyed playing in the dirt and simply running around with his mom and dad. Sean is a carpenter so we got to talk a lot about that and the possibility of passing it down to his kids and Sarah had lots to share about the joys and stresses of parenting a three year old - so I learned a ton!

We all ended up sitting around the fire eating marshmallows and the boys found sticks with the flashlight well after the sun had set. I’m thankful for this family and for continuing to build a relationship and friendship with them!
